AGAINST ME! HAS BEEN ADDED AS SUPPORT FOR FOO FIGHTERS
AT JOBING.COM ARENA ON MARCH 2

It has been announced that Against Me! the punk rock band from Gainesville, Florida will open for the Foo Fighters at Jobing.com Arena on Sunday, March 2. The show will begin at 7:30 pm.

On July 10, 2007, Against Me! released their first major-label album New Wave, after three successful full-length records on indie labels-- Reinventing Axl Rose (No Idea, 2002); As the Eternal Cowboy (Fat Wreck Chords, 2003) and Searching For a Former Clarity (Fat Wreck Chords 2005). New Wave debuted at #57 on the Billboard 200 the week of its release. The record features their first chart single, “Thrash Unreal”, which hit #12 on the US Modern Rock chart.

Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace is Foo Fighters’ sixth studio album and has already proven itself a worthy addition to the band’s discography, as songs like “The Pretender” and new single “Long Road To Ruin” are holding their own every night alongside known barnburners like “My Hero” and “All My Life”. As Entertainment Weekly said of the new album, “the band has taken everything it’s always done best… and brought it to the next level.”
