The Edge 103.9 presents
One of punk's most credible and influential bands, Southern California’s Pennywise, has been added to the VANS WARPED TOUR® 2008 Presented By AT&T at Cricket Wireless Pavilion on Wednesday, June 25. The festivities will begin at 12:00pm. Tickets are on sale now.
VANS WARPED TOUR veterans Pennywise--who’ve sold over three million albums worldwide--are on track to have the fastest growing single of their career with “The Western World” which is continuing its ascent at radio, currently at #20 on the Mediabase Alternative chart. The band has logged over 400,000 free downloads of their new and ninth studio album Reason to Believe (MySpace Records) during a groundbreaking campaign on MySpace.
The iconic punk band recently shot a poignant video for “The Western World” which attacks our celebrity-obsessed culture. The video has already received over 500,000 plays on MySpace in just two weeks. http://profile.myspace.com/index.cfm?fuseaction=user.viewprofile&friendid=2900382
