FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE
ALANIS MORISSETTE
NOVEMBER 11
Morissette released FLAVORS OF ENTANGLEMENT this past June and has been on a roll ever since, playing to ecstatic, packed-house crowds all across Europe while the album, which debuted in the top ten on Billboard’s Top 200 album chart, has garnered widespread critical acclaim. Blender and People Magazine gave the record three stars; Us Weekly gave it three and a half and Entertainment Weekly praised it for “having the same kind of passion that fueled (smash hit album) Jagged Little Pill.”
Co-written and produced by Guy Sigsworth (Björk, Imogen Heap), FLAVORS OF ENTANGLEMENT is Morissette's first original studio release in four years.
"There's not another artist-male or female-who can take you on the kind of emotional journey that Alanis can," says Sigsworth. "She has this ginormous, super-massive, planet-eating emotional range. She goes all the way-10 on the Richter Scale-and we're at the epicenter with her as she sings whole worlds into existence. She can be raging and hostile, distraught and desolately heartbroken, glowingly nostalgic, sensual, breezy and self-deprecating-all in one album."
