Rock and Roll Hall of Fame Inductee, Dave Mason, will make a stop in Tempe to perform his legendary hits at the Tempe Center For The Arts on Wednesday, August 27. CTA featuring Danny Seraphine will begin to rock the show at 7:30pm.
Dave Mason’s career spans over 37 years and has encompassed producing, performing and songwriting, not to mention being revered as one of rock’s greatest guitar players. He first found fame at the age of 18 with the rock group Traffic. Their best known song “Feelin’ Alright” has become a rock and roll anthem, having been recorded by well over 48 artists.
Dave has performed on a number of albums such as The Rolling Stones’ Beggar’s Banquet, George Harrison’s All Things Must Pass, Paul McCartney’s Listen To What The Man Said and Jim Hendrix’s Electric Ladyland.
California Transit Authority (CTA) featuring drummer Danny Seraphine is Seraphine's trip back to the future, effectively tipping his hat to his past as a founding member of the Grammy award-wining band Chicago.
CTA’s debut album aptly titled Full Circle revisits early Chicago classics "I'm A Man," "Make Me Smile" and "Colour My World."
Don’t miss the rock legends perform at this remarkable venue. The theater houses a state-of-the-art, 600-seat proscenium theater and a 3,500 square-foot gallery. It overlooks Town Lake, with views of the Papago and Camelback mountains.
