Phoenix, AZ (November 27, 2007) – After broadcasting live at Dodge Theatre last year for his first ever HBO stand up special; “George Lopez: America’s Mexican,” and performing to three nights of sold out crowds, George Lopez has announced that he will return to Dodge Theatre. George Lopez will take the stage to perform America’s Mexican for three nights on Thursday, April 24, Friday, April 25 and Saturday, April 26. The shows will begin at 7:30pm with special guest Bryan Kellen.

On February 24th, 2007 George headlined his first HBO stand up special, "GEORGE LOPEZ: AMERICA'S MEXICAN", which was broadcast live from Phoenix at Dodge Theatre. The special was released on DVD on July 3rd, 2007 and, in its first week of sales, was #1 in stand up comedy as well as #1 in all comedy titles.

George Lopez is one of the premier comedic talents in the entertainment industry today. He is the co-creator, writer, producer and star of the ABC network and Warner Bros. Television produced sitcom “GEORGE LOPEZ”, which just wrapped its sixth and final season. The show, which is executive produced by George, Bruce Helford (“The Drew Carey Show,” “Roseanne”) and actress Sandra Bullock, can be seen in syndication across the country and on Nick at Nite's roster of classic TV shows.

George most recently starred opposite Christopher Walken and Dan Fogler in the Rogue Pictures comedy "BALLS OF FURY," and recently completed shooting the Mark Pellington directed dramedy “HENRY POOLE IS HERE” with Luke Wilson and Adriana Barraza.

In addition, George is lending his voice in the live action Walt Disney Pictures film “SOUTH OF THE BORDER” opposite Drew Barrymore. George will also appear in the comedy "SWING VOTE" opposite Kevin Costner, Dennis Hopper, Nathan Lane, Kelsey Grammer and Stanley Tucci. He is also the focus of a new PBS documentary "BROWN IS THE NEW GREEN: GEORGE LOPEZ AND THE AMERICAN DREAM” which debuted on September 12th on PBS.

Rubber-bodied and dynamically engaging, comedian Bryan Kellen has become an energetic, comedic powerhouse. Bryan’s feverish mix of storytelling, observational humor, and physical comedy produces one of the most universally captivating shows in entertainment today. He has become the regular theater tour opener for George Lopez, who noticed Bryan’s reliable abilities and similar style of turning uncomfortable life experiences into hilarious performances.
