KENNY G WILL PERFORM WITH THE PHOENIX SYMPHONY
AT DODGE THEATRE ON FEBRUARY 26, 2008

Phoenix, AZ (November 6, 2007) – Internationally celebrated recording artist Kenny G – acclaimed as the biggest-selling instrumental musician and biggest-selling jazz musician of the modern era, will perform with the Phoenix Symphony at Dodge Theatre on Tuesday, February 26. The show will begin at 7:30 pm.

It is Kenny G’s innate ability to create and set different moods with his music that has made him such an enduring force and earned him Grammy, American Music, Soul Train, World Music and NAACP Image Awards as well as a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame. He has sold more than 75 million albums, singles and videos over the past 24 years (45 million in the U.S. alone).

Kenny G is currently in the studio putting the finishing touches on his February 2008 Concord Music Group debut RHYTHM AND ROMANCE. RHYTHM AND ROMANCE melds Latin love songs with the soft tantalizing sound of the soprano saxophone for an intoxicating album full of rich electrifying songs that will have fans swaying seductively all night long.

RHYTHM AND ROMANCE, follows up his 2006 collection of all-instrumental popular material “I’m In The Mood For Love…The Most Romantic Melodies of All Time”. On this album, Kenny lends his romantic soprano saxophone sound to an entire program of romantic songs featuring several chart hits including: “If I Ain’t Got You” (Alicia Keys), “You’re Beautiful” (James Blunt), and “You Raise Me Up” (Josh Groban). The album also contains highlights that originated from movies: Henry Mancini’s “Love Theme from Romeo & Juliet,” Johnny Mandel’s “The Shadow of Your Smile” (Love Theme from The Sandpiper), and “As Time Goes By” (from Casablanca). Prior to that, Kenny released his fourth holiday best-seller “The Greatest Holiday Classics,” preceded by 2004’s RIAA gold “At Last…The Duets Album” which featured vocalists and instrumentalists Barbara Streisand, LeAnn Rimes, Gladys Knight, Earth Wind & Fire, Yolanda Adams, Chaka Kahn, Burt Bacharach and Arturo Sandoval.
