“New songs, old songs, it didn't matter: the Foos rocked and fans ate it up.”- Albany Times-Union

After selling a staggering 163,000 tickets in 24 hours for their June 6 & 7 stand at London’s Wembley Stadium, Foo Fighters have set their sights on America. The band has confirmed the bulk of their first American tour in support of their new album Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace. This will be the band’s biggest American tour to date. As on their warm up dates earlier this fall, core Foo Fighters Dave Grohl, Nate Mendel, Taylor Hawkins and Chris Shiflett will be joined by Pat Smear on guitar, Rami Jaffee on keyboards, Drew Hester on percussion, and Jessy Greene on strings. Echoes, Silence, Patience & Grace is Foo Fighters’ sixth studio album and has already proven itself a worthy addition to the band’s discography, as songs like “The Pretender” and new single “Long Road To Ruin” are holding their own every night alongside known barnburners like “My Hero” and “All My Life”. As Entertainment Weekly said of the new album, “the band has taken everything it’s always done best… and brought it to the next level.”
Against Me!, the punk rock band from Gainesville, Florida will open for the Foo Fighters. On July 10, 2007, Against Me! released their first major-label album New Wave, after three successful full-length records on indie labels-- Reinventing Axl Rose (No Idea, 2002); As the Eternal Cowboy (Fat Wreck Chords, 2003) and Searching For a Former Clarity (Fat Wreck Chords 2005). New Wave debuted at #57 on the Billboard 200 the week of its release. The record features their first chart single, "Thrash Unreal", which hit #12 on the US Modern Rock chart.

One of the most unconventional frontmen in rock, System Of A Down singer Serj Tankian emerges as a solo artist and will open the show. Tickets are available at the Jobing.com Arena Box Office, TicketMaster all Ticketmaster outlets or charge by phone at 480-784-4444. Tickets are subject to applicable service charges. Event time and date are subject to change.
