Marilyn Manson Comes to the Dodge Theater in February!

Live Nation and 98 KUPD are very proud to announce

MARILYN MANSON
RAPE OF THE WORLD TOUR
DODGE THEATRE
FEBRUARY 27, 2008

Phoenix, AZ (January 10, 2008) – Marilyn Manson, one of the most notorious and controversial entertainers will bring his Rape of the World Tour to Dodge Theatre on Wednesday, February 27. The show will begin at 7:30 with special guest Ours.

Marilyn Manson and Twiggy Ramirez have reunited and will be sharing the stage once again. The duo that started it all, are back together to finish where they left off. The two who co-wrote Antichrist Superstar, Mechanical Animals, and Holywood will be joined by Chris Vrenna, Rob Holliday, and Ginger Fish. Tim Skold has amicably split with Manson, but future collaborations aren’t being ruled out between the two.

Marilyn Manson released EAT ME, DRINK ME in June 2007. Voted "Best Band in the World" by Kerrang! Magazine, the army of noise behind Manson's bitterness is at once raw and massive when witnessing him live - "rousing the crowd with focused ardor," states the New York Times.

Expectations for the upcoming tour are best described by quoting one of Manson’s most infamous lyrics, “Everyone will suffer now”.

Ours released their first major label album Distorted Lullabies in 2001. Produced by Steve Lillywhite of U2 fame, the album received mixed reviews but led to successful tours with acts such as Ocean Colour Scene, Pete Yorn, and The Cult. The track Sometimes peaked at #31 on the US Billoard Modern Rock charts that year. For the past 4 years, Ours have been meticulously crafting their 3rd record with world renowned producer Rick Rubin. Now, scheduled for a March 2008 release, the lush, sweeping, and transcendent Mercy (Dancing for the Death of an Imaginary Enemy) is the record Ours were destined to make.
