Phoenix, AZ (March 25, 2008) – Jim Gaffigan is one of the most versatile, venerable and veteran comedians working today. With a rabid fan base and growing popularity with audiences everywhere, Gaffigan is embarking on a national stand-up tour featuring all-new material. "COMEDY CENTRAL Live Starring Jim Gaffigan: The Sexy Tour" kicks off August 15 at The Fillmore Miami Beach at The Jackie Gleason Theater in Miami and travels to more than 20 markets nationwide including a stop in Phoenix to perform at Dodge Theatre on Saturday, September 13 at 8:00pm.

Jim Gaffigan has proven himself a major talent beloved to a wide range of audiences after achieving milestones in stand-up, acting and writing. As approachable as he is edgy, Gaffigan is responsible for some of the funniest and most memorable moments in recent television and film. As a stand-up comedian, Gaffigan’s clever, quiet style has earned him an unprecedented number of appearances on both CBS’s "Late Show with David Letterman" and NBC’s "Late Night with Conan O'Brien." His recent one-hour COMEDY CENTRAL stand-up special, CD and DVD all entitled "Beyond the Pale" have catapulted Gaffigan to one of the top five most popular touring comedians in the country today. His three-month "COMEDY CENTRAL Live" tour in 2007sold-out 32 of 38 shows in 29 cities with second shows added in nine markets. "The "Beyond the Pale" DVD was certified Platinum selling more than 150,000 copies with the CD also selling over 150,000 copies.

After Gaffigan’s first appearance on "Letterman," the host personally chose him to develop the sitcom "Welcome To New York." Gaffigan has appeared in many TV shows including "The Ellen Show," "That 70's Show," "Ed," "Sex and the City," "Third Watch," "Law & Order," among others. Currently, Gaffigan can be seen in TBS' first original scripted comedy series "My Boys" and with Conan O'Brien as the animated super hero crime-fighting duo in "Pale Force" on NBC.com which was nominated for a Broadband Emmy Award.

Gaffigan will be seen in the forthcoming films "The Love Guru" and "17" and has been featured in numerous films including "Stephanie Daley" "13 Going on 30" and "Three Kings." He has endeared himself to audiences by taking on vivid supporting characters in a number of genres. In the cult hit "Super Troopers," Gaffigan got huge laughs and famously helped add "meow" to the lexicon of Vermont state troopers. Gaffigan's quiet dramatic turn in "The Great New Wonderful" took audiences and critics by surprise as he embodied an office worker broken by tragedy who ultimately explodes in rage.
